Located in Mamelodi East, Lompec Education Centre is providing much needed educational facilities to the local community. The demand for affordable education has grown considerably since the center inception in 1982, so much that an additional ten classrooms were required in order to separate the junior school from the high school. Since ROCLA commenced local manufacture of specialised concrete cabins destined for local photovoltaic (PV) farms in July, they have delivered 23 concrete cabins to PV farm clients as at end -August 2013. The concrete cabins are destined for two sites with each site requiring 64 concrete cabins. Completion of delivery is due by end- January 2014.

Against a backlog requirement of 180,000 toilets, the Amathole District Municipality issued a tender for concrete panel toilets to be manufactured and installed in a very poor and rural part of the Eastern Cape, Amathole. Rocla Sanitation won the first phase of the tender and has currently delivered to site 17,500 of the 25,000 toilets required by June 2014.
