Rocla appoints new technical executive

Le Roux who has been with Rocla for over eight years in his capacity as a civil engineer was previously responsible for the negotiation, development, design and project management of bespoke projects at Rocla as well the management of existing designs and advising on manufacturing processes.

“I am pleased to be taking on this exciting yet challenging position as Rocla’s Technical Executive. I believe my technical experience coupled with my focus on the importance of technical research to meet specific customer requirements will stand me in good stead in my new role at Rocla” said Le Roux.

Rocla’s technical expertise, has over its 100 years of operation, produced some innovative solutions such as their large spun concrete pole for 132 kV distribution networks; lightweight precast poles purpose-built for fibre optic cables in various height specifications; Rocla has developed specified culverts for mining applications such as 3m by 4m span tunnels for conveyor and mine vehicle access Thuthukisa Sanitation Initiative as well as concrete cabins for photo voltaic farms.
